Client: Cincinnati Art Museum
Agency: PB&J Co.
Project: Billboard Design + Campaign

The world famous American Gothic painting made its way to the Cincinnati Art Museum, and I was tasked with creating a billboard to spread awareness. The goal was to highlight the iconic elements within the painting such as the pitchfork, glasses and barn window to create a recognizable identity system that brings the art to life. Using the identity created by PB&J, I composed a clean layout that features the painting along side an eye catching typographic treatment easily read by oncoming traffic. The final project included title walls, wayfinding and a hand painted sign made from recycled barn wood, to compliment the art.
